Situated north of Beijing, Nanshan Ski Village has served as China’s largest and most advanced ski resort since 2001, offering top-tier equipment and amenities for skiers and snowboarders alike.

【Scope of Work】
The project required a lighting system tailored for winter sports. Advanced glare control and uniform illumination were mandatory to eliminate distracting shadows on the slopes. In a high-speed sport with zero margin for error, our LED technology ensures that lighting remains a reliable constant, providing the ultimate visual clarity for skiers and snowboarders.

【The Solution】
Through rigorous photometric modeling, we optimized glare control and established exact aiming coordinates for every fixture. The SolarOne Vision Smart 260W RT410 Flood Lights were effortlessly integrated into the resort's infrastructure. Our LED solution outperforms legacy metal halide systems by delivering exceptional uniformity on the slopes and in the air, while drastically reducing light pollution. Additionally, the LEDs offer a lifespan of over 100,000 hours, compared to just 18,000 hours for traditional metal halides.
