The HKTDC Outdoor and Tech Light Expo opens 26-29 October 2026 at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, pairing outdoor lighting suppliers with Asia-Pacific buyers.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Outdoor and Tech Light Expo opens on 26 October 2026 at AsiaWorld-Expo, in Tai O at Hong Kong International Airport. The four-day show runs 09:00-18:00 daily and runs alongside the Hong Kong International Environmental Expo.
The exhibition covers outdoor lighting, intelligent control systems, energy-saving solutions and smart-city applications, drawing architects, contractors, developers, urban planners and outdoor-space designers. Its product scope runs from signage and advertising lights to underground fittings, spotlights, track lighting, moisture-proof fixtures and portable floodlights.
The 2025 edition covered 25,000 m² and drew 448 exhibitors and 18,169 visitors, with buyer attendance rising from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the UAE, South Korea, India and the Chinese mainland. An organiser-commissioned survey of close to 770 exhibitors and buyers found 67% expecting overall product sales to grow over the following two years, and none but 1% anticipating a decline. The segments they rated most promising were home automation and smart lighting control (47%), wireless lighting control (33%), energy-saving control solutions (30%) and outdoor smart security lighting (26%).
Visitors reach the venue directly from the Airport Express, which stops at Exhibition Centre Station, or on foot from Terminal 2. Admission is by e-ticket, with online pre-registration required for mainland and overseas visitors.
