SolarOne FL6M-480W high-mast luminaires have been installed on the apron of Tianjin Binhai International Airport, replacing the site's legacy metal halide system.
The FL6M delivers warm white light at a high colour rendering index (CRI), keeping the apron familiar to pilots and ground staff while raising uniformity and making surfaces easier to read after dark.
Since commissioning the apron lighting has run consistently through dusk and night operations, with even coverage and controlled glare across the whole apron — supporting safe aircraft movement and ground handling.
