【Customer Profile】 Built in 1973, the Beijing International Club Tennis Hall holds the distinction of being China's first indoor professional tennis venue. To align with modern standards and ensure its continued development, the facility underwent a comprehensive reconstruction on its original site in 2015. 【Scope of Work】 The reconstruction project required a one-for-one replacement of the existing 1000W metal halide fixtures. As tennis is a sport with virtually no margin for error, the lighting system had to provide the ultimate visual stage for athletes. Advanced glare control and uniform illumination were mandatory to eliminate distracting shadows or hot spots, ensuring that the lighting remains a reliable constant rather than an unpredictable variable during high-speed play. 【The Solution】 A rigorous photometric design was executed to optimize glare control and establish precise aiming coordinates for every fixture. The new LED lighting system was seamlessly integrated via a one-for-one retrofit plan, outperforming legacy metal halides by delivering exceptional uniformity both in the air and on the court, thereby guaranteeing optimal visual clarity for professional tennis.

Delivering 75% uniformity and 50% energy savings, these low‑glare luminaires ensure excellent visual comfort for athletes and coaches. Featuring organized play sessions and top-tier instruction, it stands as the ultimate destination for pickleball enthusiasts in New York. 【Scope of Work】 In the summer of 2019, our partners at Green Arc Energy Advisors engaged SolarOne to design an LED lighting solution for this new indoor facility. The primary objective was to deliver competition-level illumination while ensuring optimal visual comfort for both players and spectators.
